It’s easy to find the little guy that dreams big. They are in the playgrounds, the bars or just entering the work force. They want to be the president, the marquis sports player of the decade etc etc. Unfortunately in the circles I travel, it seems easier and easier to find the big guy that dreams “little” They are the best actors, the best fakers, the best talkers. In fact I use to be one of them. Here is where they fall short. They are constantly driven by money. Their goals are NEW……new car, new house, new watch, new vacation. They have no idea how to be big and dream big. They do not focus on their place, their existence, and most sadly how they are going to change the world.
I had the luxury to meet a man named Hitesh (Juneja). A guy that could make money programming with a Casio calculator while sitting on a dirt road in the middle of India. That fascinated me, but it was just the beginning. When I first heard him I didn’t fully understand what he was saying. I remember one webinar I was doing, I kept hearing a cat meowing in the background… It was Hitesh.
Soon after, he became my friend.
The most important thing I learned from him was not about blogging, driving traffic, or making money. It was how to “Be Big and Dream Big”.
When we have a chance to speak on the phone we seldom talk about money. In fact the only time it comes up is when we strategize how to make our membership more of it. Instead we talk about real world problems. Problems the average person faces in life. I assure you listening (better yet hearing **Huge Difference**) a story of pain is much more fruitful than a piece of paper with a president on it.
Now, don’t get me wrong I have no visions of grandeur of being a saint. In fact, I know I just arrived at the the forest. The forest of realization. This is where you understand that life is the only thing that matters. More importantly, all life matters. So stop with the “deleting of friends posts” Stop with the “blasting of people trying” You are not celebrating your focus, you are in fact giving up on a human life. They are drowning, and instead of extending a hand, you are selling them a theory on how to build a life raft.
I am still learning. I am learning reflection, I am learning humility and I am still seeking my place in life. I know I am suppose to help other people, I just haven’t discovered the grand stage. I know, I know…D$ (DS Domination) has helped so many people. But, working with Hitesh I am looking bigger. I am now dreaming bigger, thanks to him. Soon it will be time to execute those dreams. But, for today I will simply execute this post in the hopes that others will execute their pathetic shunning of others that paid them for help, unless they pay more. God, gave you the hand that others are asking for. You received it for free, stop charging others that want you to use it.
Dream big, that’s okay. But, when you get there remember how. Look back, you will see a river of pain that still needs your help.
Then decide to dream bigger.
