Are Soon Parted
You may recall from previous posts that over the last few months I’ve posted quite a number of times on the subject of crypto currencies (aka alt coins). Once again I’ve been contacted on Facebook by someone asking me if I’m interested in an alternative source of income.
He goes by the name of Steven Shaw on Facebook. We have previously said “hello”, but little more than that, so this really is our first conversation (so to speak).
So now he knows that I know a bit about Forex trading and Bitcoin.
Nice little introduction and it seems he took notice of some of what I said (though I do wish he’d stop calling me “mate”). Followed by:
Well, that was polite. Though, I’m a bit surprised that he didn’t send me an affiliate link. Maybe he’s an employee or even one of the business owners.
So, as usual, lets check the website. “Home”, “Pricing, “FAQ”, “About”, “Mail Us” – all the things I’d expect to see.
Who are the people behind the organisation? No idea!
Check the site’s history.
Created 27 July 2017 and only registered for one year.
Perhaps they don’t expect to be around for too long.
Who are the People?
Not exactly forthcoming.
Try a different approach.
Interesting… I got an answer to a question I didn’t ask. Then I got information that doesn’t tally with the Whois records. And what does he mean by “precisely 5 months ago or thereabouts”?
Now, if you haven’t visited his Facebook personal profile (and frankly, don’t bother) our Mr. Shaw describes himself as “Legal practitioner, Network Consultant, Entrepreneur, Business Mogul”. Ignoring the self-aggrandisement, for a Legal practitioner (whatever that is) he’s not very precise.
Let’s see if we can establish his connection with Primus Trades.
So Mr. Shaw is an Investor.
But the shareholders prefer to remain anonymous.
One more try…
All that secrecy.
“Give US Your Money”… and we might tell you who we are.
Very reassuring. Just what a Prospective customer wants to know.
I’m not quite sure how I should best answer that one.
What’s your answer for Primus Trading?
